These are some pictures from the May trip to Moab
Every body who didn't go missed out on a trip of a lifetime. The weather was just perfect. The Wheeling was great and best of all no breakdowns. Cherokee Bill and his brother John, Rockin Ralph and Irene, My Wife Liz and daughter Katrina and my brother in-law Joe all met in Moab for a 3-day wheeling fest. we started out on Poison Spider Mesa on the first day. Joe Lead the group on his mountain bike. I thought he was crazy for riding his bike on the trail because I didn't think he could keep up with us, Boy was I wrong it was the other way around, he had to wait for us 99% of the time. Poison spider Mesa trail is considered one of Moab's hard core trails IM not sure what they consider hard core but it was fun and the views were great. At one of the over looks we could see on the other side of the River at another trail called Moab Rim we noticed a few 4X4s crawling down the trail very slowly, well the next day we found the reason of the slow pace. It was a one-mile clime of Sandstone, all off camber leaning towards a drop off from 50ft to 1/4 mile to the River. Looking out of my Jeep down to the river I often wondered what I was doing up there. My wife and daughter opted to walk most of Moab Rim at least the first part. We had lunch at the top of Moab rim at the views were breath taking The next day we spent at Slick Rock doing Hells Revenge and Fins and Things. Bill and I both washed are Jeeps in Slick Rocks Bath Tub and of course I had A little body Damage on one of the off shoots on Hells Revenge no biggy it was all part of the fun of Moab. I can't wait til the next trip

Lions Back
I can't remember the last time I was so scared. When Joe and I got to the top my knuckles were white and I couldn't let go of the steering wheel and the 47 piont turn at the top wasn't fun either. the next day after Hells Revenge we drove by Lions Back and along the west side of the Rock was a few memorials of people who have fallen off Lions Back. IM not sure I would of done Lions Back if a saw those Memorials first and on top of all that we had to Pay 5 bucks to do it?
